By using Scribba, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Scribba is a voice transcription app for macOS. All audio processing happens locally on your device. No audio data, transcriptions, or personal information is sent to external servers or used to train AI models.
Scribba requires a paid subscription. Payment is processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel in System Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policies.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Scribba.
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws when using Scribba, including laws regarding the recording of conversations. Many jurisdictions require the consent of all parties before recording. It is your responsibility to obtain any required consent before recording. Palmetto Apps LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates are not responsible for any unauthorized or illegal recordings made using Scribba.
Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, background noise, accents, and language model availability. Scribba does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any transcription. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all transcriptions. Do not rely on Scribba for medical, legal, financial, or any purpose where inaccurate transcription could cause harm.
You may not use Scribba to transcribe protected health information (HIPAA), classified materials, or any content that violates applicable law. You may not reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute any part of the app.
Scribba, including its name, design, code, and all associated content, is the exclusive property of Palmetto Apps LLC. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.
Scribba processes all audio and transcription data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any audio recordings or transcriptions. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Apple may collect crash reports, diagnostics, and subscription-related data through their standard systems. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours. If you contact us for support, we will receive and retain your email address and message content solely for support purposes.

Scribba is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Palmetto Apps LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of Scribba.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Palmetto Apps LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Scribba, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law including recording consent laws.
We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these terms.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
